Volunteers, save the date! Monday, Jan. 18th is a day off from school. It's also the date of the "Hope 4 Bridget" Read-A-Thon for K-5th grade students at Lake Barrington Field House, from 9am-1:30pm. Bridget is the 5-year old child of a beloved District 220 reading resource teacher, and was recently diagnosed with Batten Disease, for which no cure exists at this time. We need high school students to read with small groups of children and talk to them about your favorite books. There are also some special requests: for any sports team members, poms, and cheerleaders to come in your uniforms, for drama students to dress up in provided character costumes, and for art students to make posters ahead of time. Please see Mrs. Bauer if you'd like to help on this special day.
Attention All Students! The social event of the year is on the horizon. Keep February 5th open on your calendar. More details to follow from athletics.
